On the Road to Yellowstone

Heading for Yellowstone
After leaving the Red Bluff area we began a trek to Yellowstone. Becky is excited because her Mom is flying into Denver Colorado to join us and her aunt is meeting us north of Denver in their Class A rig. We drove over to Joplin and decided to stop for a couple of days and rest. We stayed at the Big Red Barn Campground. Guys this is a very nice park with very friendly staff and clean grounds. Wal-Mart and other shopping is close by and this park makes a great stop while travelling. After leaving Joplin we continued over to Topeka Kansas where we stopped at the Hilltop Campground in Topeka. This park is a former KOA park and to be honest needs some repairs. The staff was helpful and the pool was nice and uncrowded. We decided to stay a week here to rest up and over all it was a nice visit. From here we will continue over to Russell Kansas to one of the best overnight parks the Triple J. Stay tuned for the Nomadic Durrs.
