Pay Per Click

Pay per click was a giant monster for me as a young marketer. My first experience led to dismal failure, not because it was a bad idea but because of my lack of training. Often when entering the world of pay per click it can prove to be a maze of confusing decisions that can result in enormous financial debt with little success. When using pay per click identify your target audience for example if you were promoting a health product you would not want to advertise on a lawn and garden site. Also target your demographics especially in the areas of age, gender or location. Many ad sites such as Google offer a easy to follow step by step process for entering pay per click. Explore all of the major search engines and determine which is right for you. The most important part of pay per click is key word selection. Proper key word selection can result in being listed on the first page or the last page. You must be able to select keywords with limited competition but with high search requests. All of the major search engines offer keyword tools which will help you find and select the proper key words. After selecting the proper keywords you must decide your cost per click. By that I mean if you are willing to pay ten cents per click your ranking may not be in the top ten, which will place you on the first listing page. By the way your ultimate goal is to be listed on the first page but at a price that is affordable. I generally begin my pay per clicks at around twenty two cents a click. By monitoring their success or failure I adjust this accordingly. I do have some sites that I am significantly higher but these produce results that I am looking for. Pay per click should be monitored daily for cost per conversion data. In other words ads that are producing will be left in place and those that are not will either be paused, deleted or the cost per click modified. When done properly pay per click is a vital part of your marketing plan.

MLM Friend or Foe

Hi guys from the Durrco Trail. It has been a good week for Becky and I and we look forward to a great month. You know I had someone tell me this week that 95% of all folks who start a home based business will fail and quit in the first 6 months. That started me to thinking why would this happen? Are these people lazy? Maybe they are bad workers and not willing to put in the time? Maybe they chose the wrong business?

No that is not the case sadly most of these are simply unprepared for the journey they have begun. Most of you know that I retired from the law enforcement community. When we hired a new police officer he underwent a battery of tests, training and medical evaluation then he was outfitted with the tools necessary to do his job. Even so it generally 18 months on the job before they are considered totally trained. So why do we in the MLM Networking community expect people in our downlines to succeed? We all share the blame for not properly preparing those who have trusted their livelihoods to us.

So Becky and I think we need a new country club, one where you have to be new to network marketing and looking for the guidance and training necessary to make it in this industry.

So if you see yourself in this picture contact us today!!
